I don’t think there are any rules. I, for one, am in development : )

This is an issue close to my heart, since authors are all about personal branding. 🙂

Most people don’t realize that my grandfather actually started Facebook in 1950 well before this Internet thing started happening. http://momentslater.blogspot.com/2010/11/original-facebook.html

Having heard the podcast, I do think that the most important point in your conversation with Tom, aside from the stickers, is that an employee needs to be mindful of the portability of their personal brand. I can’t imagine someone in the 20’s beginning their career not investing in their personal brand from day one on the job (or sooner).

When young people ask me for advice on marketing and career, the first thing I do is ask them to tell me about their personal brand.

Cheers.
